| The
responsibilities of the Bankruptcy Committee are to inform,
educate, and communicate with the bankruptcy bar concerning
matters unique to our local Court and other Bankruptcy Courts.
Principal activities during the past
year were to discuss procedures established by our new bankruptcy
judge, Kay Woods, review relevant cases, and review the newly
passed bankruptcy reform legislation, effective October 16, 2005.
The Bankruptcy Committee meets on the
last Friday of the month, January through May at 8:00 AM in the
Bar Association office. |
