Committees:
Taxation and Estate Planning
| The
Taxation and Estate Planning Committee meets once a month from
September until May (excepting December) for lunch at the YMCA.
A speaker presents a topic of interest in the tax, probate and
estate planning areas. The talks usually last 30 to 45
minutes, and typically there is a lot of discussion among the
committee members. Attending the meetings is an excellent
way to keep up with current developments in our area of the law
and to network with fellow practitioners and trust officers.
Although the Committee has a sign-up list, the meetings are open
to any interested member of the bar association as long as he
notifies us that he intends to attend the meeting.
The Committee also occasionally
sponsors CLE Seminars.
